The much-awaited Asia Cup 2022 is set to begin from August 27. Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah took to social media on August 2 to announce the schedule of the event. Shah took to social media to share the schedule of the event and said it would be an ideal preparation for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 scheduled to be played in Australia.
"The wait is finally over as the battle for Asian supremacy commences on 27th August with the all-important final on 11th September.
